Aalborg got a point in the away game against the favourites of Copenhagen (2-2). Aalborg started the game in a very promising way and should feel sorry that they did not manage to grab the victory after the red card of Nikolai Boilesen.

Midtjylland started the current season in the Danish Superliga with a shocking defeat against the team of Odense (1-2). Then came the 1st leg of the Champions League Qualification against Celtic (1-1). The Danes got an invaluable point and perhaps will rest some of the key players for the upcoming game against Aalborg. We could expect that the manager will make some rotations in the starting elevens.

Our Verdict

Midtjylland has started the current campaign in the worst possible way but there is no reason to believe that the current champions will try to win the game against Aalborg at any price. It is not their primary goal for the coming days. The top priority is the elimination of Celtic next week. Considering the expected approach of Midtjylland and the good start of Aalborg, seeing goals on both nets seems like the most obvious scenario.
