Missing Attacking Options
Quite shockingly, Arsenal was defeated in the first round of the English Premier League against the newly promoted team of Brentford (2-0). Arsenal faced some troubles in creating real danger in front of the Brentford net. The absence of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette was crucial for the team. The attacking duo will not take place in today’s game either due to a positive test for COVID-19. The new signing Martin Odegaard will also miss the game but will be at the stands to watch it.
Stronger Chelsea
With the arrival of Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea looks balanced in all positions. Currently, the Blues is the team that is considered to fight for the title in EPL. The start of the season
has been excellent so far. Chelsea lifted the title in the UEFA Super Cup (2-1 win over Villarreal) and smashed Crystal Palace (3-0) in the first round.
Final Thoughts
If Aubameyang and Lacazette stay at Arsenal, the future of the club will look bright and a place in the top 6 will not look like an impossible task. However, the two big names are missing the game tonight and Arsenal will struggle to find the net for sure. On the other side, Chelsea will try to control the match and not concede any goals in the first place.
