Could Barnsley be a serious thread?
Barnsley eliminated Tranmere (2-0) and Norwich (1-0) in their way through the 1/8 finals of the oldest club tournament in the world – FA Cup. Perhaps, the exploit of Barnsey will end tonight but let’s see what the hosts have prepared for the biggest challenge to meet so far. Considering their domestic performance, Barnsley is placed in the middle of the league-table with no real chances to move up or go down to the relegation zone.
New outlook of Chelsea
There has been a definite improvement in Chelsea’s performance since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel. It seems so far that the management of the Blues had made the right decision with trusting the German. Chelsea conceded only 1 goal in 4 games recording 3 wins and a draw. We are sure that the team will not underestimate the FA Cup and Tuchel will use the best of its squad.
Final thoughts
We think that Chelsea will save some energy for Premier League battle. Of course, this does not mean that they will underestimate the game against Barnsley. We expect a win with one or two goals as Chelsea will control the game 90% of the time.
