Hope for Change
Bilbao finished the previous campaign in La Liga on 8th place. Thus, the team will not participate in any European tournament and will have to focus on their performance only in La Liga and Copa Del Rey. The club has appointed the former Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde. The expectations for better performance have risen significantly.
Measures Taken
Mallorca skipped the relegation last season due to their stable form at the end of the campaign. The team had been seriously endangered to leave La Liga for most of the season but Mallorca showed courage and determination in the crucial moments. The guests appointed Javier Aguirre at the wheel of the team. Vedat Muriqi was signed on a permanent deal as well as Predrag Rajkovic (goalkeeper) and Pablo Maffeo (right back).
VIctory for Hosts
Bilbao relies heavily on their performance at home. The team is expected to record an encouraging victory at the start. There are many premises to expect to see that happen.
