Poor Form of Toffees
Everton has recorded only 1 win out of the last 5 games (2 draws, 2 losses). The last points came in the so-called “easy” games against Burnley (1-2), Crystal Palace (1-1) and Brighton (0-0). Tonight Everton will face a more serious challenge. There are some absentees within the squad – Yerry Mina, Bernard, Fabian Delph and Abdoulaye Doucoure will miss the game due to different injuries.
Tottenham still has Chance for Top 4
It has not been of the most successful campaigns for Tottenham so far. The team lost against Manchester United in the previous round (1-3) and currently, the perspective for qualifying for the Champions league looks vague. The atmosphere within the team has not been very positive due to the recent rumours of the leaving of Harry Kane during the summer.
Final Thoughts
Both teams have nothing to lose and will try to win the game as the draw is not an option for either the Toffees or the Spurs. We expect to see an open game with many opportunities on both nets.
