Europa League is here! Another portion of world-class European football. The derby match from group F is set to take place in the very first round of the tournament – Eintracht is facing Arsenal at their stadium Commerzbank Arena.

Eintracht Frankfurt team preview

Some key changes happened in Eintracht during the summer. We are not sure that this is the same team that reached semi-finals of the same tournament last year. All key players in the attack were sold during the summer – Luka Jovic joined Real Madrid, Sebastien Haller strengthened West Ham, while Ante Ribic chose to sign for AC Milan. Moreover, Filip Kostic was on the verge of joining Inter but that would have been too much for Eintracht supporters. Bas Dost and Andre Silva were the incoming replacement for all that left but we are not sure whether they are capable of replacing them.

Arsenal news

Arsenal reached the final of the tournament last year but was totally smashed by Chelsea. The team’s ups and downs have turned to be a constant trait of Gunners overall performance since the beginning of the season. Anyway, we think that Unay Emery did a great job on the transfer market signing Nicolas Pepe, Dani Ceballos, David Luiz, Kieran Tierney. Paying attention to the academy boys like Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock and Reis Nelson has also turned to be a smart decision by the Spaniard. Of course, more consistency is needed still.
