At first sight, Inter should only fight for prestige in this match. The Nerazzurri are placed 2nd as Juventus had already been announced as the new champion of Seria A. The improvement in performance under Antonio Conte is obvious and perhaps the next season Inter will compete for the title and thus break the hegemony of Juventus. We think that there won’t be a rest for the key players tonight and the coach will use the best out of his squad.
On the other side, Napoli is still out of Europa League zone and the match is from significant importance for their final ranking. The fierce competition between Napoli and Milan for the 6th place will be decided in the very last round of the championship. Till then, Napoli should struggle to get some points at Giuseppe Meazza. Dries Mertens will not play as he is suspended for yellow cards.
We expect to see an open game with opportunities on both nets. It is possible for Napoli to take something out of the game but it is far easier to predict the abundance of goals tonight.
