Nunez In, Mane Out
Liverpool managed to keep almost the same squad for the current season. Sadio Mane was sold to Bayern Munich, Takumi Minamino went to Monaco. New arrivals for the team are the former newborn star of Benfica Darwin Nunez as well as the promising Portuguese midfielder, Fabio Carvalho. Liverpool failed to impress during their pre-season games but let’s what the team has to offer to beat Manchester City.
Busy Summer for City
The summer transfer window was more turbulent for the Citizens. The team sold Raheem Sterling to Chelsea, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal but managed to get Kalvin Philips from Leeds and Erling Haaland from Dortmund. Bernardo Silva has been strongly connected to Barca but for the time being the Portuguese remains at City.
Our Prediction
We are expecting to see an open game with many opportunities on both nets. Goals scored by either team is the most possible outcome of the game.
