United – flawless in EFL
Manchester United eliminated Luton (0-3), Brighton (0-3) and Everton (0-2) through their road to the semi-finals. The Red Devils have been flawless as the team is yet to concede a single goal despite playing all three rounds away. Edinson Cavani is suspended for the game due to his infamous social media post, Viktor Lindelof is unavailable as well as he is recovering from a back injury.
City shifted to higher gear
City beat Bournemouth (2-1), Burnley (0-3) and Arsenal (1-4) as the team had shown no mercy against the Gunners in the previous round. No mercy was shown a few days ago to Chelsea as well. Manchester City humiliated the Blues with 1-3 but the result says nothing at all. City played like a team coming from another planet. For sure, Pep Guardiola has found the perfect form of his team and will get into the game as favourites.
Final thoughts
The Derby of Manchester has always been intense and thrilling till the very end. It is very hard to predict the final winner considering the recent improvement of United’s performance. We predict that seeing goals on both nets is very likely to happen.
