Title dream came to an end
The team of Tottenham has been in a poor form recording 2 consecutive losses against Liverpool (1-3) and Brighton (1-0). The worst part is not the lack of points in these games but the ankle injury of one of the key players Harry Kane. The English will surely miss today’s game and his absence will influence the overall performance of the team.
Hopes for improving under new coach
Under Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea recorded a draw against Wolves (0-0) and a win (0-2) against Burnley. In both games, the Blues recorded clean sheets and total control on the match with a possession of nearly 80%. The signs for improvement within the team are obvious, so do the hopes for moving up in the league table and Champions League zone.
Final thoughts
There is a boost in Chelsea’s performance under the new coach and considering that and the absence of Harry Kane, we would state that Chelsea will not lose the game. We could bet that there won’t be plenty of goals either due to the reduced goal power within the Spurs team and the high possession play of Chelsea and bettered defensive play.
